Kuhiawaho is excited to announce our Iʻa Kū o ka ʻĀina Summer Program 2021. Haumāna will get a hands on experience in learning Hawaiian moʻolelo (stories), native farming practices in loʻi (taro fields), ʻai pono (health and wellness through native and local foods), and will get the opportunity to visit Hawaiian culturally significant sites every Friday for our "Hawaiian History Holoholo" days.
There are 2 sessions being offered at 3 weeks long. Each session will be held from Monday through Friday, 8:00a.m. - 02:00p.m. The session dates are as follows
June 14th - July 2nd
July 5th - July 23rd
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays will be on-site at Kuhiawaho and Tuesdays and Thursday will be at-home virtual learning through Zoom.
Haumāna who are entering grades 7th - 12th.
